Aly Forgione, Social Work Intern
Aly is a social work intern pursuing a masters degree in clinical social work with Columbia University’s online campus.
Aly is a dedicated individual, with a passion for supporting children, teens, and their families in times of need. With field experience in a telehealth therapy setting and her work as an elementary school special educator, she brings a unique, well rounded perspective to the therapy space.
Her background has given her the tools to understand and support young people through challenges related to emotional well-being, learning differences, and family dynamics. Whether in a virtual setting or in person, she strives to create a safe, supportive environment where kids, teens, or young adults can express themselves, build resilience, and grow.
She uses a compassionate, person-centered approach that blends evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as skills from CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and play therapy to support each individual’s unique journey. By integrating different methods, she tailors each session to meet the individual where they are and help them grow in ways that feel authentic and empowering.
Monica is currently accepting virtual and in-person sessions for individuals
