Nora Claire Kunzmann, LCSW
Nora Claire is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over eight years of experience supporting individuals through life’s most challenging moments. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Appalachian State University and offers therapy exclusively through virtual sessions, providing flexible and accessible care for clients across diverse backgrounds.
Nora Claire’s approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, affirmation, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey. She practices from a person-centered philosophy, creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Her work is informed by cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), strengths-based and person-centered modalities, and mindfulness-based strategies. She specializes in helping individuals build coping skills, manage stress, navigate life transitions, and work toward meaningful change.
Her professional background includes more than two years in child protection services, a year and a half working with individuals experiencing homelessness, and four years providing care for adults living with severe and persistent mental illness in alternate care facilities. These experiences have shaped her trauma-informed, holistic perspective and reinforce her commitment to meeting clients where they are.
Nora believes that healing happens in connection—and she is honored to walk alongside her clients on their path toward greater resilience, insight, and well-being.
