Grounded Support for the Next Generation

A green underline.

Growing up today comes with a unique set of pressures from navigating social media and school performance to managing the internal complexities of ADHD and anxiety. At Calm Clarity Therapy, we provide specialized mental health support for children and adolescents in Lakewood and Denver, helping them build the resilience and emotional tools they need to thrive.

We move away from clinical formality and focus on meeting young people where they are, providing a neutral space for them to process challenges and develop practical coping strategies.

An Integrated Approach for Young Minds

Children and teens often benefit most from a care plan that addresses both their behavioral habits and their biological needs. Our clinic is uniquely equipped to provide a unified experience for families.

  • Specialized Youth Therapy: Our therapists use age-appropriate, evidence-based strategies to help kids and teens manage big emotions. We focus on building "real-world" skills for focus, social confidence, and emotional regulation.
  • Pediatric Medication Management: For children and teens struggling with significant ADHD, mood disorders, or anxiety, medical support can provide a necessary foundation. Our PMHNPs offer medication management in Colorado, prioritizing a careful, conservative, and collaborative approach to psychiatric care.

Common Areas of Support

We provide tailored care for the specific challenges facing children and teens today:

  • ADHD & School Success: Developing systems for focus, organization, and managing the "executive dysfunction" that can impact grades and confidence.
  • Anxiety & Social Pressure: Helping teens navigate the stress of social expectations, performance anxiety, and the transition into young adulthood.
  • Depression & Mood Shifts: Providing a safe space for young people to process feelings of withdrawal, irritability, or low self-esteem.
  • Neurodiversity & Behavioral Support: Supporting neurodivergent youth as they learn to advocate for themselves and navigate a world not always designed for them.

Common Questions

  • How involved are parents in the process?

While we prioritize building a private, trusting relationship with our teen clients, we believe parental involvement is vital, especially for younger children. We provide regular "parent check-ins" to ensure you are equipped with the tools to support your child outside of our sessions.

  • Is medication safe for my child?

We take a very careful and collaborative approach to pediatric medication. Our providers spend time educating families on the benefits and potential side effects, ensuring that any clinical intervention is the lowest effective dose and is consistently monitored.

  • Do you offer telehealth for kids and teens?

Yes. Many teens actually prefer the comfort of telehealth, as it allows them to engage from a space where they feel most relaxed. For younger children, we often recommend an initial in-person visit to build rapport before transitioning to virtual sessions.

Take The Next Step!

We provide a neutral, professional space for kids and teens to work through the pressures of school, social life, and neurodiversity. Our team works with both the child and the parents to ensure there is a clear, practical plan for growth and emotional stability.
