Leandra Montoya, LPC
My name is Leandra Montoya, PhD, LPC, and I have over 9 years of experience in the mental health field. My master's degree is in forensic psychology, and my PhD is in Counselor Education and Supervision. I work with teens (15+) and adults navigating relationship struggles, trauma, and addiction. My approach draws on relational-cultural therapy and person-centered care, layered with ACT, mindfulness, and polyvagal-informed techniques to help clients build safety and resilience in their bodies and relationships. I also have experience supporting clients with mood disorders and serious mental illness, as well as anxiety, depression, ADHD, family conflict, life transitions, justice-involvement, and identity-related concerns, including LGBTQ+ and racial/cultural identity work. I support people with neurodivergence through neuro-affirming care as a core part of my approach. I believe healing happens in connection and regulation, and I'm honored to walk alongside my clients with warmth, curiosity, and compassion as they build stronger relationships with themselves and others.
