Therapy and Psychiatric Care Covered by Medicaid in Colorado
Calm Clarity Therapy accepts Medicaid for
therapy and
psychiatric medication management in Colorado. If you're covered through Health First Colorado, the state's Medicaid program, our licensed therapists and PMHNPs are here to help. We see Medicaid members in person at our
Denver and
Lakewood offices and via
telehealth throughout the state.
What Medicaid Covers at Calm Clarity Therapy
Health First Colorado covers a broad range of outpatient behavioral health services at little or no cost to members, including:
- Individual therapy with a licensed therapist or clinical social worker
- Psychiatric medication management with a PMHNP
- Telehealth visits for both services
Most Medicaid members have no copay or a very low copay for outpatient mental health visits. To confirm your specific benefits, call the member services number on your Health First Colorado card or visit healthfirstcolorado.com.
Therapy and Medication Management Together
At Calm Clarity Therapy, both services are available in one practice. If a combined approach makes sense for your situation, your therapist and PMHNP can coordinate directly so your care isn't fragmented. You can start with one service or both, whatever fits your needs right now.
Our therapists and PMHNPs work with adults and adolescents on a wide range of mental health concerns, including:
- Anxiety and panic disorders
- Depression and persistent low mood
- ADHD
- PTSD and trauma-related conditions
- OCD
- Bipolar disorder
- Teen and adolescent mental health
- Grief, crisis support, and life transitions
