Calm Clarity Therapy is in-network with Aetna for
individual therapy and
psychiatric medication management in Colorado. Our therapists and psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNPs) are available at our
Denver and
Lakewood offices and via
telehealth for Colorado residents statewide.
What Aetna Covers at Calm Clarity Therapy
Aetna plans generally include benefits for outpatient mental health services, including:
- Individual therapy with a licensed therapist or clinical social worker
- Psychiatric medication management with a PMHNP
- Telehealth appointments for both services
Plan types and PPO, HMO, and EPO members may have different cost-sharing structures and network requirements. PPO members typically have the most flexibility, while HMO members should confirm CCT is included in their specific network prior to scheduling.

Most Aetna Members Can Schedule Without a Referral
Most Aetna PPO and EPO plans allow you to book directly with a mental health provider, no referral from your primary care physician needed. If you carry an Aetna HMO plan, it's worth a quick call to member services to confirm before scheduling.
