Audrey Burriss, SWC
Hello, I am Audrey Burriss, a Social Work Candidate (SWC) dedicated to supporting adolescents, teens, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful change. I specialize in helping individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, and other life stressors, providing a compassionate and supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.
My approach to therapy is person-centered and strengths-based, meaning I believe each individual possesses unique strengths and resilience that can be utilized throughout the healing process. I utilize evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), to help clients identify practical strategies, build coping skills, and achieve their personal goals.
As an inclusive and affirming therapist, I proudly support members of the LGBTQ+ community and strive to create a safe, welcoming environment for individuals of all backgrounds and identities. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, I am committed to walking alongside you on your journey toward growth, healing, and well-being.
