Hannah Tyler, SWC Intern
Hi, I'm Hannah, a Master of Social Work (MSW) candidate at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. I am passionate about creating a collaborative and safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. I believe therapy should be centered around honoring each individual's strengths, resilience, and lived experiences.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in human connection, compassion and evidence based modalities. I strive to create an affirming space where clients can show up authentically. I am excited to continue my exploration of somatic approaches as well as walk and talk therapy. My work supports individuals experiencing anxiety, life transitions, grief, relationship conflicts, and creating sustainable regulation skills together.
Working with caregivers and families in Head Start has informed my strengths-based approach and my deep passion for supporting others in accessing empowering mental health care. I am excited to continue working with caregivers, while expanding my experience with young adults, adults, and couples.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy hiking, camping, thrifting, and spending time with my dog.
With a collaborative approach, I am here to support you on your journey of self-discovery and healing.
